Description

USMI SWCC Military Riverine Assault Boat RAB

Own the legend. Rare opportunity to own an operational U.S. Navy Special Warfare SEAL (SWCC) Riverine Assault Boat (RAB).  This remarkable craft has been restored to its operating condition by an investment of funds, time and talent.  You can add this unique watercraft to your collection at a fraction of its replacement cost. You might enjoy this vessel “as is” – or creatively imagine the re-purposing possibilities it represents. For starters you might replace the original camouflage paint scheme (which remains in good repair) with a look and feel suiting your unique marine needs and vision.  This vessel retains, among other things, its ballistic protections, weapon mounts (sans weapons), and communications and other surveillance infrastructure.
Contracted acquisition cost on the RAB was $1.4 million.

Think outside the box.  Arrive in style, own something different.  Maybe you already own a top-of-the-line Cigarette, Tiara, Formula, Chris Craft, Regal or Mastercraft.  None of those quality vessels would, however, reliably transport or protect U.S. Navy SEAL operators in battle.  This Navy SEAL SWCC boat, with its incredible capabilities and pedigree, needs a new home – it could be yours.

The brackets on top of the gunwale are for holding the removable armor package.  These brackets can be removed or the additional armor can be purchased at a later date.  The BoatMaster RTT trailer has not been painted as the buyer of the RAB might choose an alternate color.
Recognizing the rare opportunity to own a Riverine Assault Boat (RAB), the War Zone website (The Drive) wrote an excellent story on this exact boat and I encourage you to find and read this piece.

I have been purchasing surplus government equipment for over twenty years and have completed over 4000 successful transactions.  I have learned a few things during this period, to include that it is quite risky to purchase untested equipment, especially something as complex and well built as this boat.
In this instance, prior to the vessel’s sale, U.S. Navy personnel removed a myriad of components and took other steps to decommission this vessel.  Luckily the boat still retained its primary components to include the engines, transmissions and water jet drives – all of which proved to have low hours. That having been said, the vessel proved to be far from operational and it has taken three months, the expenditure of tens of thousands of dollars on parts, and hundreds of hours of technical work, to get this RAB back into operational condition. The boat is now back in fighting form and I am looking for someone special to steward it through the next chapter in its life. Are you qualified?  I encourage you to come visit.
